On 15th June while addressing the gathering at the inauguration of Pradhama Hospital, AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu said that in order to offer high quality health care to all sections of the society, the state would require more investments in the healthcare sector.
The Pradhama Hospital with a bed capacity of 600 is the largest multispecialty health care center in the private sector. Established with an investment of INR 220 crores, this state of the art hospital boasts of a helipad and is now planning to get an air ambulance in the span of six months. According to the reports, more than 60 local doctors have invested in this project.
While talking about the hospital, CBN said that this hospital with its excellent infrastructure and healthcare facility can be definitely termed as a modern hospital. He went on to say that he sincerely hoped the hospital would offer its services to people from all walks of life. He assured that the management can expect full support from his government for offering high quality medical care to the citizens.
He said that Vizag is a beautiful city with hospitable people and now that it is developing at a faster pace, it is important that it should have more number of medical care facilities.
While addressing the gathering at the occasion, M Venkaiah Naidu, the Union Urban Development Minister said that healthcare and education were the prime requirements for development of the society. He added that the Indian Prime Minister and the AP Chief Minister are promoting these sectors efficiently.
He said that in order to fulfill the healthcare requirements of the citizens, the private sector should join hands with the government and supplement their efforts to offer good health facilities to all.
The other dignitaries who were present at the occasion were Deputy CM N Chinarajappa along with MLA of Visakha East VRK Babu, Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu and PVN Madhav, the MLC from Visakha East.
