CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu’s latest AadharPay idea seems to be an easy solution to go cashless. In the recent meeting with the state wide bankers, the CM had shared the idea that can be seamlessly implemented to fight the cash crunch. The CM also strongly believes that this idea can be applied pan India.
The CM has expressed his views on AadharPay in detail on his social networking page.
“With the successful implementation of making Aadhaar-enabled payments system (AEPS) though Android mobile phones in Vijayawada, I’m planning to take this idea of AadharPay to the national level.
AadhaarPay is a hassle-free option wherein a consumer could just transfer money to the trader by just a thumb impression. The trader needs only a smart phone and a biometric reader to receive digital payments from the customers
The idea will be placed before 13-member panel of Chief Ministers on Demonetization, which I’m heading, in the meeting scheduled on December 28. I shall prevail upon the Central government to replicate the same technology to promote cashless transactions.
The idea was put forward by Krishna District Collector Babu Ahmed. I congratulate his pro-active attitude in trying to figure out a way out of this crisis.
I strongly believe that the Government could achieve the breakthrough in a month as it is an easy solution to promote digital payments. Looking forward for the response of panel members on this digital solution which can push our aim of a ‘Digital India’.”
