Buzz is afloat about the visit of high level French delegation in Vijayawada. The team of 57 members led by Mr Alexandre Ziegler was in the city. Ziegler, the hon’ble Ambassador of France in India visited Amaravati on Wednesday. Discussions commenced with a team of 12 senior level officials representing the French Embassy in Delhi and France Consulate in Bengaluru.
There is a lot more than what meets the eye with this delegation. A 57 member French business delegation held important talks surrounding their interest to invest and explore future opportunities in the people’s capital of Andhra Pradesh. This is a productive sign, where the French have willingly come forward to assist and invest in the next happening city of India.
Some vital talks have been initiated where senior officials of AP state government and APCRDA interacted with the guests. The delegation focussed on important avenues and identified critical sectors that hold promise. The guests have expressed keen interest in investment and partnership prospects into sectors like energy, IT, water, transportation, waste and environment, planning, tourism etc.
The meeting had turned out to be a win win forum for both the parties, highlighting the untapped potential and scope of Amaravati as the capital in the years to come. State govt officials shared information and plans surrounding Amaravati Master planning and way forward with the construction. The delegation responded actively to initiate and offer partnership in select projects that direct impact the development and growth of Amaravati.
