The CM of Andhra grabbed the attention of Davos and the world alike, with his presentation on Technologies for Tomorrow. While those who have attended the session in flesh and blood were left astounded, they also made it a point to spread the word. AP is now looked upon as the state with futuristic technology as well as plans.
The latest addition to the CM’s list of many admirers is none other than John T Chambers, Chairman of CISCO. He was ‘told’ about the stunning session yesterday, and went on to talk about the same with the CM when they met.
Mr. John T. Chambers, Chairman CISCO congratulated the Chief Minister for taking keen interest in digitizing the state. He said, “ I’m coming from a session attended by World Bank and IMF executives and during the session digital initiatives of Andhra Pradesh was talked about. I congratulate you for this.”
Later, the Chief Minister explained the growth rates in various sectors in Andhra Pradesh and also briefed him about the core dashboard.
Chief Minister has asked Mr. John T Chambers to involve Cisco in the establishment of the digital university, to which he replied saying that he would constitute a group which would interact with Government of Andhra Pradesh and work in the areas of digital skills, block chain, IoT , cyber security.
